They deserve it?
The child must have done something wrong? The wife must have gotten on her husband's nerves? These are the prejudices we have. According to the statistics of the Seoul Women's Hotline, however, most of the husbands beat their wives with no special reason. Even if the wives did something wrong to their husbands, it cannot be the reason for the husbands to assault their wives. There is no excuse whatsoever that can justify violence on others. In the case of child abuse, we hear often that parents beat their children on educational purposes. However, according to a statistics, kids even under the age of 3 are beaten by their parents, and this is clearly showing us that violence against children should not be tolerated in the name of education.
